Job Description

  • Assisting the HOD in overall assessment of potential site location (mall/street shop).
  • Responsible for site selection, filtering, and making proposals for management approval. A negotiate deals from initiation to final execution.
  • Stayed informed about market rental rates and competitor data.
  • Able to work across all department internally and coordinate externally with Landlord/owner related parties.
  • Establish & maintain good relationship with Landlord/owner.
  • Prepare and execute leasing documents, including lease agreements, termination, renewals, and related paperwork.
  • To prepare and online submission stamp duty.
  • Prepare and execute all the related documents for utilities and license submission.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior.

Process

  • Site visit, market survey, submit for management approval.
  • Ensure site handover process in order, with Project Team. Follow up with deposit payment with Finance team.
  • To review agreement for both renewal and new outlet, including relocation.
  • Undertake / participate in any ad hoc projects or other relevant duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum Diploma and/or 2 years of working experience in a fast-paced business development/expansion for retail or Mall leasing management experience.
  • Proactive, resourceful, responsible, responsive, and flexible to changes in any situation.
  • Able to multi-tasking with meeting multiple datelines
  • Excellent communication, fluent in English, Bahasa Melaysia and Mandarin.
  • Effective and focus communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
  • Flexible with working hours and working days, able to work during weekends and Public Holiday, if needed.
  • Possess own transport and able to outstation work, when required.
  • Ability to start work with short notice will be an advantage.
