Training & Events Manager

Job Description

Training Program Management

1. Develop and implement Training programs

  • Design and deliver effective training programs for internal staff, partners, and clients.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and feedback.
  • Create and update training materials, manuals, and documentation.

2. Coordinate Training Sessions:

  • Schedule and manage logistics for training sessions, including venue selection, equipment setup, and participant registration.
  • Coordinate with trainers, speakers, and facilitators to ensure smooth execution.

3. Evaluate Training Effectiveness:

  • Conduct post-training evaluations to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Gather and analyze feedback to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.

Trade Events Management

1. Plan and Organize Trade Events:

  • Lead the planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.
  • Develop event concepts, themes, and agendas that align with company objectives.
  • Manage event budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

2. Vendor and Partner Coordination:

  • Liaise with event venues, suppliers, and vendors to secure necessary services and equipment.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure cohesive event messaging and branding.

3. Event Promotion and Registration:

  • Develop marketing strategies to promote events and maximize attendance.
  • Oversee event registration processes, including attendee communication and data management.

4. On-Site Event Management:

  • Ensure smooth on-site operations during events, handling any issues that arise promptly.
  • Coordinate with staff and volunteers to provide a seamless experience for attendees.

5. Post-Event Analysis:

  • Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success against objectives.
  • Prepare reports detailing event outcomes, participant feedback, and areas for improvement.

Requirements

1. Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Dietetic, Nutrition, Food Science or related field.

2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in event planning, training program management or a similar role.

3. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events and training initiatives.

4. Excellent project management and organizational skills.

5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

6. Proficiency in event management software and tools (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite).

7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.

8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

9.Certification in Event Management (CMP, CSEP) or Training and Development (CPLP) is a plus.

10. Willingness to travel as needed to support events and training programs.

11. Possess flexibility to work in the evenings and weekends during events.

12.Must be able to work at Section 15 Shah Alam and Bukit Raja 2 (future new HQ).
