Accounts Executive (AP)

Established since 2006, BIG Pharmacy Healthcare Sdn Bhd has grown to become one of the largest retail pharmacy chains in Malaysia with presence in Klang Valley, Johor, Seremban and Melaka. As part of the Group’s plan to expand in the southern region of Malaysia, the Group merged with RedCap Pharmacy in year 2018 and the combined entity now has more than 70 BIG Pharmacy outlets throughout Malaysia.. The group is poised for expansion nationwide with its strong management team, wide product range, and institutionalised pharmacist training program which formed the foundation of our successful business model.

Job Responsibilities:

Account Payables

- Validation and booking of supplier invoice.
- Matching invoices with Goods Receive Note (GRN) as well as Purchase Order (PO).
- Ensure and obtaining appropriate approvals for non-trade invoices.
- Comply with weekly Payment’s process & ad hoc payment requirement.
- Liaise with suppliers, outlets and related parties for all trade related matters.
- Processing Petty Cash reimbursement claim.
- AP month end closing and responsible for monthly AP forecast and suppliers’ reconciliation.
- Maintains historical records by downscaling and filing documents.
- Involve in AP data cleansing activity when necessary.
- Assist in finalisation of audit reports.
- Assist in providing expenses analysis for preparation of tax computation.
- Any other ad hoc assignment.

Fixed Assets registration.
- Administer and take full charge of fixed assets registration.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in finance with a minimum of 2-3 years related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative environment where the focus is on continuous improvement, change and the challenge to make it better.
  • Software skill(s): Knowledge in accounting software, MS Office.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and able to communicate with written in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
