  • Sourcing and evaluating attractive lines of product to meet market demand.
  • Work closely with vendor on contract & promotion negotiation to secure the best competitive deals.
  • To co-ordinate with internal department on inventory management, planning and forecasting.
  • Communicate and work closely with line managers during planning and purchasing processes with potential supplier.
  • Identify growth opportunity and risk in assortment and develop contingency plan.
  • Creates and maintains professional relationships with vendors.
  • Meets established goals for sales, margin, income and inventory levels.
  • Ensure that pricing, promotional strategies, and marketing of the goods support the objectives of the merchandise division.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
  • Ability to work in a very fast paced environment while maintaining a professional disposition and demeanor at all times.

  • Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification inBusiness Studies or any related disciplinerelated fields.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of working experience in the related field.However, fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Analytical skills, strong commercial acumen and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • High level of integrity/ probity, numeracy & IT Skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and strong in MS Excel.
  • Good time management and work well under pressure.
  • Preferably candidate from retail/ FMCG industry in the following categories:
    • Health food & Baby
    • Personal Care
    • Skincare
