Medical Assistant (office based)

Job Description
  • As information centre and provide timely support/ medical advice/ recommendations to customer regarding rehab products' promotions & services.
  • Handle rehab customer service inbound calls enquiries.
  • Responding to complaints from customers and giving after-sales support when necessary.
  • Promote and liaise with customer for delivery and servicing appointment.
  • Assist on Rehab related SOP work and on-site training for Operation.
  • Also to be able to look for information for article write-up related to Rehab.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, billing and coding and handling correspondence.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with patients, healthcare providers, and other members of the healthcare team. This includes the ability to explain medical procedures, provide instructions to patients, and communicate effectively via phone, email, and in-person.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in any related flied.
  • Previous job experience in healthcare industry will be an added advantage.
  • Mature with pleasant personality, tactful and has good interpersonal skills.
  • High level of initiative & able to work independently.
  • Possess a positive and can-do attitude.
  • Able to work on shift (in between retail hours).
  • Open to learn new things and have creativity
  • Administrative Skills and basic knowledge of excel and word is needed (including Power Point)
  • Teamwork, ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals is essential.
  • Communication Skills, an essential for interacting with patients and explaining procedures.
